It just looks & stares & sometimes strikes. Sometimes it just looks for a bit & then he goes a different Way. Whats wrong with him?

Did you get him from a breeder? If so, they should be able to tell you what they were eating and when it last ate...

Sounds like a defensive strike not a feeding one. probably still a little freaked out from being moved. I'd leave him alone nice and quiet for a week and then try again.

Wait at least 5-7 days in between offering food. I know it is tempting to keep trying over and over again when you are worried and want them to eat, but that just adds more stress and can make the problem worse.

    Re: whats wrong with it?

monday, the male desert ate on Wednesday
That is a very short acclimation time, we usually recommend giving the animal a week to settle before offering food, especially for new owners.

Given the size of both yes they have ate before but did you ask what they were eating? Not all of them eat rats, did you ask how good they were eating?

Have you handle them since monday? If so you need to leave them alone.

How have you been housing them can you describe each enclosure, temps, size hides etc?

How big are those males (weight wise)?

Not all BP reacts in the same manner to their new environment does not mean there is anything wrong with one but you need to see if something need to be adjusted, more often then not with new owners it is husbandry related.

Yeah, don't try again, you'll only stress him out. Patience is the key here. He'll eat eventually. Just leave him alone for a week and he'll acclimate..
