Question Stinky ball python after shipping

Okay I got my first ball python in the mail wednesday, a 2013 female black pewter from BHB. She is lovely! No pics yet, as when she arrived she was half shed and I wanted to get her in her tub right away to relax.

Now my question: during shipping she apparently peed or musked or did something in the bag. I didn't see any poop, but the bag was wet and smelled pretty awful. I know I need to let her get accustomed before I handle her, or even try to feed her. I was wondering, should I still clean her up in a warm bath to get rid of the smell and keep her from getting any scale rot? Or should I wait a few more days to avoid stressing her out any more? I'm just worried about her possibly getting some ailment from having the substance still on her.

    Any advice would be great!

Edit: She was fully shed by the next morning and I was able to get the shed out without disturbing her.

Sounds like she musked or peed....I have had 3 BPs and one SD retic do this in transit while still boxed up...I run some warm water or wet a washcloth and just wash them down very gently before I put them in their tanks to settle in.

Warm wash cloth then leave it alone for a week prior to feeding
