Pastel Pied question?

So I'm house/dog/snake sitting for the in-laws.

I was handling the pastel pied and noticed his eyes look normal, not green.
Are pastel pieds, like regular pieds, suppose to have green eyes?

No, regular pieds don't have green eyes either. The only morphs with green eyes have spider in them, so you would have to have a spider gene in there for the green eyes.

I don't see any green there. I dunno maybe I'm a bit color blind but I see a dark brownish gold on the bottom of all their eyes and grayish gold on the top part of all their eyes. I've only ever seen green in spiders and spider combos.

A trait of pastels are green eyes.
