That is such a ridiculous, overly dramatic article, it's disgusting. Sadly, I bet lots of people will buy into that crap.

Sounds like that owner shouldn't own that snake if he can't even take care of it properly.

I'm working on a Snake Tracker App! If you have any ideas or suggestions on features, feel free to post them in the Development Thread! I'll also be posting updates on the development of this program in this thread!

I have never wanted to have a large snake like this before, but this ridiculous story makes me want to. Just to prove people wrong.
Not that they aren't strong animals, but that they are misunderstood and require respect and knowledge in order to take care of properly. Just like ANY other animal.

If we saw dog attacks/bites in the news as much as we see misleading snake stories, there'd be all new laws against owning dogs.
    (Maybe not actually, but still...)

No your right, it's just that they won't target ALL dogs, they go after the large scary breeds that fewer people own. Dobermans, pit bulls, rotties, etc.

I think I know of a view places that do ban popular breeds like German shepherds because they're "attack dogs." Not that I wouldn't own one anyway.

This "article" is nothing more than fodder for uninformed sheeple so they can keep selling ad space. And idiots with dogs aren't news as there a lot more of them than idiots with snakes. It all about sensationalism.
Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?

Never argue with idiots. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with their experience.
