    Music featuring melodic screams done by women

    just looking for suggestions, and i know the title looks weird. But i just like tracks where the vocalists go all out. Especially if they are female.

    So ill start with a male performer, just to set the stage: Marilyn Manson: The Nobodies.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IaBPiALh82g its just one guy and one guitar. but he dares to scream, at least in parts of the song, and that makes the song.

    And then there is this piece, done by Björk and Skunk Anansie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQzRFwVFIKU

    so, do you know any tracks based on the idea that there is a female singer going all-out and screaming? of course this is exclusively about music, it needs to be in a musical context. its only about screams done for artistic reasons, and/or as part of a performance.

    Most of my suggestions are going to be electronic genres, though...>.>

    There's the Agonist, they are fronted by a woman and there's lots of screaming and growling. Not sure if it's melodic or not, though. lol
    "Panophobia": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EdT7M4f2L9A

    Hmm. I haven't heard this version of The Nobodies before, so thanks for that! I love Marilyn Manson, definitely my favorite band of all time.

    Some male bands:
    Psyclon Nine. It's all high-pitched screaming. Idk if it's your cup of tea or not, just offering some variety in case. I love 'em, though.

    "The Dark Half"-Aesthetic Perfection http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRbANL0ozrk Not really melodic screaming, but there's some screaming parts.

    Centhron is another screamy/growly band with vocals sort of similar to P9, but a lot more electronic. They're German, so most of their songs are in German, though.

    "Tanzdiktator"-Nachtmahr http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tTaHAPFGwo An Austrian band, so most of their songs are in German as well.

    Also, a few videos with excerpts from female-fronted screaming/harsh vocal bands. Hope this helps. (If you want more electronic-type stuff, I have a few more suggestions. )

    Well, since you brought up Manson, tourniquet is probably my favorite song by them... As for older stuff, Janis Joplin was a screamer
