Big girl palpation..

How do you do palpation for 2500g female with the muscle tone of a boa.

My big girl is way too muscular how do you guys do it?

Palpation is the same regardless of size. I palpate my 3400g super pastel. You may just need to let her keep moving through your hand a few times until she flatens more easily.

It's simple really, start about 2/3 down the body, use the middle finger (I just find it's easier) grasp the snake and firmly but gently press into the under side with your finger, as the snake moves through your hand the follicles feel like ping pong balls and they kinda just pop through your hand. Like pop pop pop count the pops you feel. I let them run through at last 3 times to get the most accurate count. The close to ovulation the easier it is to feel them. Don't do it after ovulation, for two reasons, you could damage an egg and after ovulation you can't feel them anyway lol

Try and have her as relaxed as possible before attempting to palpate her. Leave her tub cracked open a few inches. When you put her back in, allow the last 2/3 of her body to just hang a little down. As she moves in, take a paper towel in the hand you're using to palpate with and follow along with Peoples method described in the last post. The paper towel was a trick I was shown that really allows her move a little more freely though your hands without tensing up as much. Practice, practice and more practice. Good luck.

With the big girls, you really have to get them to relax. I have tiny hands (as in buys children's gloves tiny) and have some arthritis due to some injuries I've had. I really have trouble with big girls. My solution was to buy an ultrasound, lol.

Well I think thats my issue I have tiny hands lol. After 1700grams I'm useless.
