hello this is my first message and i just have a couple questions about my tank. The first one is that is it alright if i have a small crack at the top of the tank or should i replace the whole thing and the second question is that is a tank that is 20x11x11 an okay size for a baby bp or should it be bigger

I'd think the crack would be alright as long as it isn't an easy escape route for your bp, like if the glass is seperated where the snake can push against it and escape. Also if theres an edge where the snake can slither across and get cut. But if it's at the top, I doubt that will be a problem. Just to be sure, I'd slap some duct tape on the outside though. Not on the inside...incase humidity unsticks the tape and your bp gets tangled up in it...nasty story like that happened to someone here.
As for the tank size...I have a 20 gal, which is 24x12x12, so I'd assume you have a 15 gal or something..not sure. Sounds like it could house a baby bp until it hits around 2 feet long. The general rule of thumb is 1 square foot of floor space per foot of snake. Hope that helps.

Compadres, it is imperative that we crush the freedom fighters before the start of the rainy season. And remember, a shiny new donkey for whomever brings me the head of Colonel Montoya.

I'd use aquarium caulk to cover the crack to make sure that your bp can't get cut on it. Other than that, you should be fine for a wee one.

Any large pet store or WalMart or aquarium store will typically carry it.

Cool
yup, i got some at petsmart but i have seen it at walmart too. make sure you have something else to keep the snake in for a few days because some of that stuff is really smelly until it cures.
