    Humidity Help/Questions

Hello everyone! This is my first post, but I've been browsing for help for a few months now.

I got my first Ball Python in April 2013, so it's almost been a year. I think she's about 2 1/2 years old, she was already full grown when I got her, and I'm not sure how much she weighs.

Since discovering this site, I've been wanting to do more for my snake than just the basics. I got her in South Carolina and then moved to Washington state a few months ago. I have not been keeping tabs on the humidity because 1) her sheds in SC were great and the soil stayed damp for much longer and 2)she keeps knocking off the humidity meter. Since moving here, the soil dries out quickly and her shed are really rough and takes a while to come off. I currently have her in a 40g breeder tank, I use Eco Earth Coconut Fiber substrate, a 150 Watt bulb for the daytime with a dimmer, a red nighttime lamp (I don't remember the wattage), and a thermal heating pad. I mist her terrarium twice a day and switch the lamps.

I have been looking around for a mister/fogger, and I found two by Zoo Med, but I don't know which one would work best.

    or

One is a humidifier and the other is a mister, so I don't know which one would work best.

    I've also heard that this:
    http://www.amazon.com/Zoo-Med-HygroT..._petsupplies_4
works well to control the humidity, but honestly I have no idea what to do to help build it up.

I feel like I'm kind of all over the place, I'm sorry! But I just need help to figure out what I should buy to help out my baby. Please help if you can! I would really appreciate it I also have some pictures on my page if you would like to check them out.
