I have a 2 yr old (?) boy that will not eat. I've tried f/t and live. He shows no interest at all. He only ate once since I got him around Thanksgiving. Since then he won't go for it. I fed him a medium live rat and he snagged it fast the first time I fed him. My girl eats fine. She has taken large and medium live and f/t rats. He is trying his hardest to get to her. They were accidentally placed together by my husband who isn't a snake guy, and they locked at least once. I haven't had them together since. Is he just going through the normal guy thing and not eating because of breeding season? I've been tracking weights and he hasn't lost too much weight. His parameters are right on target. Hot side 89 to 90 cool side 83 to 84, humidity 60%. Both enclosures are the same in temp and humidity. I have 2 hides, a water dish in middle, damp moss, and mopani log. Both enclosures are covered on all sides except half the front to help them feel secure, screen tops have foil and saran wrap on 2/3s of it. Like I said everything is identical except the size of hides. His are smaller than hers because he is smaller. I have digital temp humidity guages with probes inside warm hide. I have damp moss in warm hides. They are in a quiet area.
