    Busy belly

This is Chomper, he has a crazy busy belly and my hubby thinks there is more to him than just being a "normal". He is super light also. Here's a little background on him... He is a rescue from an uneducated owner, Chomper was left alone several times with a rat and became a chew toy several times. When I got him, he was covered in scabs and had an RI (which is being treated for now) All his wounds are healed, mostly except for a couple. So let me know what you think....

This was the day after we got him, and right after he shed

Holy cow, poor guy. That belly is really cool. I've seen a few snakes with a belly like that, but it was scaring from an old burn.

    Re: Busy belly

I have seen bellies like that before and most of them were scars... That one does not look like a scar at all... I would honestly dink around with it and see what happens...

Nope not a scar at all. In fact his belly is the only thing that doesn't have any scars. I plan on putting him with my girl that has a completely clean belly, after he gets a clean bill of health

Looks like chomper was once the chompee
Good thing he's in a better home! Would love to hear how he progresses with that RI recovery. My girl gave me a scare for a while before I realized her "whistling" was shed in her nostrils/vents
