Lithir looked like he was going to shed, but didn't?

Three nights ago Lithir had opaque eyes like he was about to shed and his snout scale looked like it was peeling. Now his eyes are normal but I didn't see him in the shedding process and there is no skin. Did he not shed?

Give it a couple more days and keep your humidity around 60-70%. Snakes' eyes clear up a day or few before they peal. If you catch it(usually in the middle of the night), it's a cool sight to see.

He will shed in a few days. Not sure with a Hognose, but my BP's usually shed within 3 days after clearing up from blue and my boas are usually done within 5 days.

He should be shedding any day now. The eyes cover and then clear up, and then a day or two later is when they shed. Don't forget to increase humidity!

He shed his skin. I didn't get to see it... He did it while I was gone during the day yesterday.

Do I let the humidity go back to normal now since he has already shed?

I keep my hoggy on eco earth and I very rarely mist her. Mine does swim in her water though but never soaks.

    Yes it can drop now.

I currently have him on walnut sand.. but since it once again has cigarette beetles in it I'm planning to switch to eco earth. I started misting as soon as I saw his eyes turn. He did get in his water dish a little bit, but he just swam rather than staying in it.

I like eco earth for them. It is great for burrowing and she makes all kinds of tunnels. Mine also climbs in her fake plants and swims regularly. I have never seen her soak.
