    Prices of Axanthic Morphs

Hello everyone! I've been looking into breeding ball pythons, and I've fallen in love with the Axanthic morphs. I like to have papers done for each project I'm going to do, and with those papers I need prices for the possible offspring. I can't find any of these for sale, so I'm asking around. I need prices for the following: Het Axanthic Het Clown, Het Clown, Het Axanthic, Axanthic Het Clown, Clown Het Axanthic, Axanthic, Clown, Axanthic Clown (The goal). I have other projects I need prices for too but I need to get this one straight first. Thanks so much!

Clowns are nowhere near 3 grand!

There is no way to know what you can price animals you are not even close to producing.

Thanks for the clown pricing! coldbloodaddict, I don't want a concrete price, what I would like is the reasonable price range. I know females go for more and it also depends on how nice the markings are, but there are ranges for every morph.

I picked up my female 100% het axanthic for $50 at the last Hamburg reptile show.
She was supposed to $75 but I got to talking to the breeder and he went down to $50 before we were done

I got my het pair for 100.

It sounds like you're doing sales forecasting to see if the pairing will create offspring that have demand and a high price point.

They will, but finding people with the money is the difficult part.

Pair what you like, sell what you don't keep and hope you make a profit. Do it for the love of the snake, not the love of money.

We sold our het Clown females for $200 this season (hatchlings) but breeder ready het Clown females seem to be closer to $1000, especially around breeding season. And if you are newer, selling hets can be tough. It took me a few years to be able to get market price for my hets.

I get what you are trying to do, but the problem is that prices change dramatically from year to year, and double recessive projects take a long time. So the ranges we can give you now, and the ranges that your animals will sell for are two completely different things. It is also tough to price something if it isn't available for sale right, and you also have to consider that with expensive stuff, there is sometimes trading that goes on, so seeing a snake listed at $10,000 and then noticing that it is sold doesn't necessarily mean that someone actually got $10k cash for it.

Male double hets will most likely be around the 100 dollar range, females will most likely be around 800+, visual hets I would guess 2k+ and the double visual I would guess around 10K. Just kinda guessing based off of what I have seen with clown/hypo projects.
