My BP began shedding two or three days ago which was on a wednesday. I normally feed him every monday and was wondering how long should I wait to feed him again because I was told not to feed during shedding.

How long should I wait to feed after shedding?

I would wait at least one day after he/she sheds. That way you give them some time to adjust to the new skin, and you dont stress them out too much by feeding while they cant see

Compadres, it is imperative that we crush the freedom fighters before the start of the rainy season. And remember, a shiny new donkey for whomever brings me the head of Colonel Montoya.

I usually end up feeding Amber the day after she sheds. She usually delays her normal feeding day due to a shed, so she's pretty enthusiastic about eating after she's gone hungry for a week or so longer than normal.

Yeah, I feed the day after too. I know that the long (sometimes 2-week) period when the eyes go blue, is never a time that I feed. Too much stress feeding a blind snake, and also it could make shedding more difficult, as it fattens the body more. My snakes seem to have the strongest feeding responses the day after a shed.
