Help me spend my christmas money!

    Hey guys,

Not sure if this is the best place to post this but I want help/advise choosing a rack to buy. I only have $500 to spend so I can't go super high end I'm debating between these 3; http://cserpents.com/C_Serpents_Hot_Box/V-70.html (The 3 tub), http://www.reptilebasics.com/iris-cb-70-rack, http://www.boaphileplastics.com/rhin...ball_room.html (the 4 tub). I have never owned a rack system before and I just got into snakes this year. I have 3 Balls and none if them are full grown. They're currently all in 20L tanks and are doing fine, but I want more and don't have space for tons of tanks. Any advice/reviews on these racks would be great! I also need suggestions on thermostats... That's all I need to have the rack be functional, right?

Oh, and if you have a suggestion on a rack you like better that's in the $300-$500 range let me know!

    Thanks Y'all!

    PS
If I had leftover cash to put toward snakes, that would be brilliant!

Racks usually come prewired with heat tape, so all you usually need are the thermostat. If you haven't already, check out animalplastics.com. They make great racks.

You can always consider building your own rack. I found a local place where I can get expanded foam PVC (that's what a lot of the racks are made out of) for not much more than melamine. Once I figured it up, I can make a 5 tub cb 70 rack for less than I could buy most of the other racks.

I have C serpent racks as well and I love them. I also talk to Chris all the time and he's a great guy. I recently saw his new incubators that he took over as well and they're very nicely designed. I would like to get one when I have the money, rather then make my own. His incubators have a false back wall so when the heat rises the fan blows the air into the false wall and the air goes down to the bottom and out the opening on the bottom to recirculate.

Seconded for Animal Plastics. They have some very nice economy racks with a good amount of space for collection expansion.

If you're going to go the animal plastics route, just know it'll most likely take months. If you need something sooner, I'd go a different route. I'm thinking of getting my first rack system in the next few months. I've been looking at C serpents racks and really like their v-70 racks. Their three tub v-70, which will work for BPs when they are full grown, is 300 shipped.

Is this due to lead/construction time or they just bad at shipping? I thought about buying two racks around February but maybe I should put my order in now?
