Mini Dragons? No, not Beardeds.. (Pics)

So I came across a post today talking about how miniature "dragons" had been found in India. The article provided very little information about the actual species itself, and also gave an incorrect name for the species. Additionally I learned after that the post was a year old (2012) so I tried to dig up some more info. Have you guys heard about these little dragon things?

They only get to about 7" long according to Wiki..

Yeah, there are several dozen different species of Draco gliding lizards. They're pretty common in some areas. They're agamids I believe. I haven't heard of anybody who keeps them but they're pretty cool little guys.

I have read that they do not do well because of rough handling they receive at the time of capture and shipping.

I have seen these for sale several times, Rockabirdie Reptiles in Cali gets them sometimes.
Many are wild caught I believe, as they are a bit of a pain in the butt to keep. 10 metre sq. enclosure for 1 male and 3 females, complete with trees. Ohhh, and it appears they need ants in their diet, lots and lots of ants. The formic acid food being tested may help with that.
All I can say is research, research, research before ordering these. Maybe new needs these cool lizard butterflies have are being uncovered and they are lasting longer.
They are one of the coolest small lizards I know of though.
