    Mites & Other problems

Since my other thread kept getting bumped down and was a completely different topic anyway, I'm posting a new one.

Sampson my middle man, had contracted Mites. Here is what I had done so far.

    1. I put him in a plastic container and sprayed him down with Mite Off and left him there while I took care of his sterilite tub.

    2. I dumped the bedding from his tub and cleaned it out, and sprayed IT with mite off before wiping it dry and putting paper towels in it.

    3. I put his cork hide in the oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

    4. Took his water dish, dumped it, sprayed it down with mite off and I'm leaving it to air dry.

    5. Gave Sampson a bath in luke warm water to rinse him, many dead mites floating around in it.

    6. Put him in his tub for the time being.

Hope I did that correctly, haven't seen any mites on him yet so far.

Kaa my Pastel has missing scales on his head. It's not bleeding or oozing, but it's pink and reddish looking. I noticed this when I checked him for mites, and I didn't see any on his eyes or around his heat pits so I am watching him very closely.

I am going to remove his hide, I took out his log and tossed it as it is rough and may be the result of him possibly rubbing his head against it.

If I see any mites on Kaa, he'll go through the same treatment Sampson had gone through.

Ana doesn't have any visible mites either, and she's about to shed. She's pissy and I want to leave her alone for right now and let her sit in her humid chamber until she sheds.

She too has a bit of a rough spot on her head, but she still has scales, and I'm keeping a close eye on that too.

What can I do for Kaa's head issue?
