Don't worry, his eye cannot peel. If anything it's left over skin from a previous shed. Just keep the humidity above 50% and your snake will solve the issue on its own

I doubt that the eye is actually peeling but a lot of my animals will get 'wrinkles' on the eye scale this time of year. It's generally a sign of being dehydrated. I personally find keeping humidity levels up at this time of year to be difficult. One thing you could try is a humid hide box. Get a plastic shoe box or small sweater box, cut an access hole in the side and stuff it with damp (not dripping wet) sphagnum moss. Make sure the sphagnum moss stays slightly damp but not wet. Give it a try, see what happens...

Or a plastic container also works (won't mould). Don't worry though, it's just some left over skin keep up the humidity as everyone has mentioned - make sure you have a hygrometer to accurately measure the level of humidity in the tank as well.

    Best of luck!

I defo don't think it's just wrinkles because it's actually peeling from the middle outwards as you can see on the pic,and his head is also bad..

To be honest, I really can't tell from the picture. But if it is a retained shed that's flaking off the humid hide box will work just as well for that.

Normally 50 or above. If he's in shed try for 70. Since his head is dry, I would suspect dehydration... try to keep it up towards 70. Does he have a water dish?

Yea,it's like a sandwich box without the lid, just concerned about his eye,and he doesn't go in the water for some reason, maybe I should put the cover on and make a hole ?
