Weird Request
Stay with me here.
For my honors art appreciation class in college, my final exam is to make a personal collage about me, without being pictures of me. Naturally, I'm including a nice big reptile section. Now, I would love to tack on one of Rosca's [first snake, my big girl] skins to the board, but the heifer always rips hers, and won't be shedding again in time. Is there any sort of non-toxic, safe ink / paint or something I can put on her belly and get kind of an "ink stamp" to show size, and then wash off? Or, do you have alternative ideas? If I can't do it it's fine, but I'm just brainstorming for my project.

Hmm I had to really think about that one. It would be really cool for scrapbooking. I thought maybe children's non toxic washable hand paint, watered down to the consistancy you need. Can find it at Parent Teacher Aid stores. Anyone got any other suggestions?

I believe something non-toxic and water washable that is safe for children or babies is also safe for pets. The only thing is you may have some trouble finding an ink pad large enough for your BP

Re: Weird Request
The crayola finger paint. It's non toxic and washable. I use it with my son all the time.

Kind of a genius idea if you can find the right paint for it! I would think the washable finger paint would be a good texture for it. Good luck! Would love to see a pic when you're done.

Why no just hodge podge pieces of a shed in random places?

When's the deadline?
My YB is starting a shed cycle right now. She'll most likely shed out in a whole piece. I could send it to you if you'd like.

I'm picturing that if you put paint on the snake and try to stamp it on the paper, by the time you're done wrestling the paint on it it's gonna wiggle as soon as it hits the paper and smear.
Hodge podge the shed might be your best bet - or if your timeline isn't tight, ask someone here for a 1 piece shed. I'm sure someone would help out.
