I've had this Brazilian Rainbow Boa for over a year and he's been calm and sweet for the most part. There's only been a few times when he got scared and lashed out. But today the craziest thing happened. I did just move a week ago so that could be part of his behavior. Usually I use this extra aquarium to feed him but this time I put him in a box. He did just fine when I took him out of his cage as he always does. I left him alone for a bit to feed and when I came back, he was biting into the mouse's box that it came in. I proceeded with caution to check to see if he ate the mouse. He kept trying to lunge at me in the process. The mouse wasn't in the box so he did get it. My snake wouldn't stop trying to attack me. I thought maybe he was terrified of the box so I slowly tipped the box to where he got out. Then he just stayed in one place watching me, getting ready to lunge. Every time I tried to get close he would try to get me. Eventually I got him back in his cage without getting bit. I can't figure out why he was acting that way except for being in a new house and the new feeding area.
