    Relatively Crazy! Dreaded Family Holidays

Any tips for dealing with dysfunctional relatives during this holiday season? Battling in-laws, sibling spite, opinionated uncles - what works for you? Let me know how you handle it.

    Alcohol. Lots of alcohol

Buuut if that's not an option, I just try not to get sucked into the drama. Even if they're really getting under my skin, I'd rather bite my tongue and avoid a huge confrontation. I don't usually have to deal with it for more than a few days though, so it's not too bad.

You have "reasons" to not be around them . Like you keep a tab on your laptop set to a research paper that you are "reviewing", when in reality your main tab s full of funny picture searches on Google.

    Relatively Crazy! Dreaded Family Holidays

I just don't go to thanksgiving. I work all the holidays i can and love it. Get paid double time, still get fed, and don't have to deal with family. Win win win

LOL my sister-in-law asked me to bring wine.

Fortunately the only whackadoodle I will have to deal with is my mother-in-law, who is easily distracted by my daughter as that's her only grandchild. And if M-I-L starts messing with my daughter, my daughter simply tells her all about our ball pythons breeding (M-I-L hates snakes).
