    "Bumps" in my snakes spine

There are two small bump feeling humps in baby bp's spine. Nothing really noticeable unless handling. One towards the tail and one in the middle. Is this normal? Something to worry about? Anybody experience this with their snake? He gets around ok and climbs just fine. Just though I'd ask. Thx.

    Could be a spinal kink.
It doesn't sound normal. Their backs should be smooth. Can you post a photo?
If it's really minor, it's really nothing to worry about.
If he's eating, pooping, displaying normal BP behavior, it's all good.

yea if I posted a photo you wouldn't be able to see... you'll have to touch him to notice...he gets around pretty good and feeds aggressively... waiting for a poo from a Monday feeding tho...hope it doesn't get worse...

Agree that it could be from kinks. An injury is also possible, and now he has calcium build up? Who knows. If you can't see it it's probably nothing to get too worked up again. Just keep an eye on it and make sure they don't grow. If they grow it could be tumors or infections. An infection would probably be fixable, a tumor not so much.
