    I wouldn't ever let my snakes slither through grass,since there are fleas,bugs and mites etc... Just not smart,IMO,not like there wild snakes these are captive bred.

    Are you just incredibly contrary by nature?

    You just posted in another thread that you don't think they need two hides because they don't have two hides in Africa. Well, they DO slither on the ground in Africa.

    I honestly don't think there's much risk involved, provided the grass hasn't been chemically treated.

    After their done in the grass and before i put them back in their tank they get inspected for mites and wiped down with a baby wipe. There's nothing wrong with them playing in grass or trees by the way.

    I take mine outside once in awhile when the weather is nice. They like it and I've never had a problem with bugs or mites.

    Where I live I'd be more worried about a crow or fifty coming down on me and my pet like the wrath of God.
