    Blood after injection

I have been having to give my ball fortaz injections every 3 days for the almost the past month
Today was his 9th out of 10. When ever I inject him he really squirms alot and I mean alot so much that I can't really do it myself. Today while we were injecting him he pulled real hard and bent the needle. There was no leakage but there was a little bit of blood after a few minuets. Is this OK to happen or is this bad? Are there any other techniques I can do to keep him steady?

As for keeping him still, I unfortunately don't have any experience or tips to offer you, but you can stop the bleeding with mild constant pressure, whether that's from your bare fingertip or from your palm over a sterile gauze pad (good thing to have on hand, like $4 for a box of 30 or so). Shouldn't take more than a minute or so to stop bleeding in this way, and you can clean up with peroxide afterwards.
