So I'm looking at 3 females (2 proven one unknown history) and 2 males (1 proven and 1 virgin). The female with unknown history got sick and lost wieght so she hasn't been paired yet and may not be if she doesn't put the wieght on. The virgin male instanly shows interest and "cuddles" with the proven female but no locks whitnessed. The proven male shows interest for about an hour or two then stays in the opposite corner of the tub for the remainder of their pairing also no locks whitnessed. My schedule is feeding on saturday, introduce tuesday and remove friday. Each have been paired three times.
First question. My proven male to proven female. The female is currently not feeding. She strikes deffensively but won't wrap. She has been bowl wrapping and laying folded so her tail is at her head. Is this a good sign? Should I continue to introduce the male?
Second question. Both pairings have left sperm plugs on the paper towels. Both pairings leave small blood streaks. And both pairing leave a lot very small moist urates or what looks like urates. Are these signs of locks that I didn't whitness? Or somethingelse?
