    Question Sexing ball python?

Hey everyone was just wondering if there was a way to figure out the sex of my bp, I was told by the previous owners that they were pretty sure she was female but I am curious. Any tips on figuring this out?

You have to either pop or probe them... there are videos on YouTube on how to do both...

For questions like this, I would recommend the Ball Python Husbandry forum, here : http://ball-pythons.net/forums/forum...2-BP-Husbandry

There is a great video/thread about probing your snake here: http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...r-snake!-Video!

    Good luck!

I would suggest finding a breeder in your area that can sex the snake for you. Popping or probing is the only way to tell the sex of the snake. Neither is dangerous if done correctly. I was taught to pop by a breeder, so I pop.

I would recommend the same thing. Find someone that can show you how to correctly sex a ball python.

And shoving a metal rod inside their sex organs doesn't? Not saying either way is wrong, just giving some perspective.
