The cursed shorts

The last three times I have worn my turquoise gym shorts and held my snakes I've gotten peed on each time. I guess they don't like turquoise, my favorite color. It's not like I wear them that much either, so the odds are "funny". Had Allure my 850ish gram male out on the bed. I just got done telling my boyfriend I'm worried he'll be indecent and pee or poo on the bed. Usually snakes stretch out to do that and when I see that I grab them and go running for their cage or the sink. Yeah he didn't bother to get straight and soaked my sock and the comforter. I think I'll have to go sit at the apartment laundry mat tomorrow. It's going to be a cold night with several thinner blankets. The other two times: Dahlia peed out of nowhere. I had no idea so much liquid could be in such a small snake. And the other time was when I was practicing my popping on Pandora and she just unloaded on me afterward. I think I'm going to avoid wearing those shorts around them again. What buttheads.

*Knocks on wood* the only time I have had one "go" where they shouldn't, is when we brought home our albino boa and she let loose all over my daughter. Lol. :p

I always keep an eye on tail position and for any signs of sausage butt when I handle my snakes. In fact, I prioritize this over defensive body language.

Magnus has never let loose directly on me, but back when I was a beginner and still getting my humidity levels right, I gave him a soak in the bathroom sink. I guess the nice warm water reminded him he had to go, and he left a nice big poo right there in the sink. THAT was fun to clean up.

Your posts always seem so negative.. And yeah I'd rather have him pee in the sink where it's easy to rinse and sanitize than on the carpet or the bed. I get to wherever is closest.

Pythonminion- he's gone through a real growth spurt these last several months. And with me not having as much time to take everyone out for a while all the time it's harder for me to tell what's his now normal look. I sit there are marvel at how long and how big around he is now. ..... this better not make that quarantine thread. When in doubt they're going back in their cage now.

I guess my timing and luck are just crappy (lol) since I've had this happen with each of them but the newest arrival. I'm actually surprised it hasn't happened to you DooLittle with how long you've had snakes.
