Cool down with sub-1500 g females?

This is more of a clarification but if I'm wrong let me know. I have females that are close to the magic 1500 gram number, but some that are ready, so can I include them in the cool down as well as continue to feed them their beefy once every 4 day regimen? I believe I have read somewhere that I can but I can't find it so would simply appreciate a yes, and if no an explanation. Thank you very much!

Ball Pythons dont require a cool down for breeding. Some people like to, others dont.
1500g is some people's base line for breeding. There is no magic number, they will breed when ready, which is usually their 2nd winter.
If you really want to cool them then there is nothing wrong with cooling all you plan to breed this season. Even if they havent hit the 1500g mark.
Good luck to you, hope you have a good season
