I joined back in February when I got my second BP Amber. I've learned so much from this site and both her and I thank everyone on here for it.

I also used to worry a lot about every new little thing that she'd do, thinking it was a problem or whatever. I don't do that so much anymore.

However, last night I had a dream. I was handling Amber in my room, just sitting there. Then I notice this huge sore on her belly, and start to panic, I couldn't find anything to help her with and began looking through my yellow pages which had no 'V' section for Vets in the area. This dream basically turned into a nightmare.

What a loser I am. I woke up from the dream and went straight to Amber's enclosure, got her out, and looked her over. Of course she's fine, but I still had to look for my own peace of mind.

Thank you BP's.net, I've officially taken my first small step into insanity as far as caring for this snake!

LMAO! You're not the only one to have nightmares about thier pals.........
The other night I dreamed that my young boa got out and one of the cats had chewed his head all up. It was all mangled and completely FUBAR. I was bummed to the max and felt terrible. :p
I did the same thing you did, when I woke up I simply had to go and check him out. I knew it was just a dream, but man, it was sooo real!

I've never had a dream about a snake getting hurt. But I often have dreams about getting my snake.
