    Got a new baby!!!

My husband and I went to the NRBA reptile show at Tinley Park, as we usually do. The plan was to meet a young friend there and help her look for a female butter motley corn snake. We didn't plan on getting anything ourselves.
Several years ago, I met someone who had an adult Children's python, and I fell in love. I really wanted one but just couldn't find any available anywhere.
We found one at Tinley and had to bring it home. It is an adorable 6 week old baby, and is so tiny! Don't know the sex yet, am planning to take care of that this weekend at the all pet expo in Wheaton. I'm so excited, this little one is so cute and curious.
So I now have a Children's python. Yay!!!

    Re: Got a new baby!!!

The new baby children's python is a female, and has been named Princess Jasmine. Still just as adorable as ever. She also is a very good eater, but from what I've been told that is normal for them.
I had someone say they go through a really bad nippy teenage stage. Does anyone know if that is true? Just curious.
