killer webstite for making cage furniture!!

Maybe you have all seen this before but this website is AWESOME! I have made a few things from it and am super happy with the results. It is a great recipe for making hides, backgrounds, bowls etc! I have had no issues with my background in my balls tank getting soggy even though I used modge podge (though I used the outdoor version) but after having a killer success with the first background I ordered the Shields-All for future projects and plan on resealing my first project. Enjoy!!

    P.S.
I keep rhacs too (which are high humidity) and I haven't tried this DIY in their tanks yet.

That's what I used for my piece! Good to know modge podge holds up. Did you have any issues with grout chipping off? My bf rearranged it in the tank, and knocked a few corners off :/

I haven't had that issue with my first project (rock wall for my BP) but I have had it it on one of my other projects. I am guessing it is because I was really meticulous about the first one (and did LOTS of layers of grout) and was more careless with the other projects. Although to be honest no one ever touches my tanks so its possible that they're a little fragile and I'm just more careful with it. I can totally see thinking its super tough because it looks like rock and not thinking it could chip/break. mine has held up great though, I'm really happy with it, BUT I've only had my BP for about 6mos so it hasn't been abused very much yet!
