Vesper Ball Pythons

I have only found one thread on the BOI for Vesper Ball Pythons and none on here. There were a few positive replies at the BOI, but only one thread is unusual. Has anyone had any dealings with them? They are certified on Kingsnake, but only have a business Facebook page as opposed to a website. I'm looking to pick up a 2013 High Contrast Albino female and a 2013 Mojave male. They are having a sale on the albino for $300 and they gave me the Mojave for $100 as a package deal. I have been in talks with Amy Vesper and she's been helpful and professional. The one thing that concerns me is they only accept payment over the phone, money orders, or personal checks. I feel like none of the options will protect me if I need to have my money refunded if something goes wrong.

Those prices are pretty good for what you are getting! I have followed them for a while now on FB and I have liked what I have seen so far. As for making a payment, I would send a USPS money order, that will protect you the best. I don't see any reason why they would pull a fast one on you though.

I haven't had any dealings with them but I also only use Facebook and fauna with no regular website, just seems easier. Some people on fauna dont like to start a new thread and will just comment on an existing one, happens a lot.

Also, some sellers dont use paypal because some buyers (not saying you) will get the snake then report a problem and get their money returned, keeping snake and cash. Unfortunately some bad apples can ruin it for good people.

I can definitely understand the hesitation with Paypal, having just had mine hacked a few months ago. I certainly don't want to believe that anyone is looking to rip me off, but I also don't want to be left the idiot that didn't take precautions! It is quite a lot of money for me to lose by being too trusting >_<

USPS money order is a good way to go. Ya it might take a few days longer to get to the seller but its probably the safest thing next to credit cards. If the seller defrauds you in anyway since you sent a USPS money order that can turn into a federal crime (since it was through the mail) and the USPS police will come knocking on his door. I use USPS money orders all the time, and I use them mostly when I buy all my firearms!!

Completely understandable. Its hard to trust sometimes, especially with some of the characters around. But they do have positive boi and im assuming no negatives? Do they also have positive trader ratings on fauna? So far they sound legit. But in the end itll be soley up to your comfort level.

Edit: After speaking to the breeder further they actually use Wells Fargo Merchant Services, so I feel better about it now especially with the promise of an email with the detailed transaction info. I confirmed with my bank that they will back me up if things go awry. They also gave me the option of using Paypal, which I don't think they openly advertise due to the fees. So I'm going to give the phone thing a go. I'll be on a 30 day payment plan with them, but will report back the results so hopefully they can gain some more positive word of mouth!
