Thought I'd share some pics of my light BCI. Lots of pics.

This is Figment, the love of my life. She was just a pet store boa, sold as an "Aberrant RTB". The store closed shortly after I got her, so I never was able to find out about her parents, though I wish I had at least seen what they looked like. As a baby she was pretty standard looking, maybe a little lighter than most other normal BCI, but only a little:

After a few months she really started to lighten up:

And she kept holding on to that color:

With some greys and pinks popping up:

    Especially after a shed:

And now at almost five feet her color is still light as ever.

Ive wanted one for a very long time and yours is gorgeous. Love the first shot if its eye, I think they have the coolest eyes out of any snake.

Thank you, everyone! I really love her eyes too. She has very strange saddles as well, and I really like them. When I got her I picked her out because she just seemed right. She still surprises me with each shed. She still isn't very old, so I'm really interested to see how much she will hold onto that color. I hope she keeps it, or that more of those greys and pinks keep shining through. As any snake keeper knows, the camera never quite picks up on all the subtle colors. The photos don't do her color progression justice.

She has a pretty nice personality too, generally. Though she thinks everything is food lately. She's growing like a weed! Got me pretty good last month, when I was taking that last outdoor shoot. Love her to pieces though! ^.^

    Very very nice!!

She's looking extremely healthy and beautiful - nice job! I really like her pattern. It's almost jungle-like.
