Hopefully somebody will come forward and offer to adopt this snake before they put it down...

Python in Florida needs help...
I hear so many stories down here about people letting their burms loose (many are found in the Everglades)...so sad. Wish I could help, but I am not equipped or ready to take in a burm...hopefully someone will, but the reality is, it will probably be euthanized.

I know. When I first heard about it (on another forum and it just said python) I assumed a ball python and was willing to try and help....but unfortunately a burm - no room.

Shoot... I hope they can find a home for it.

This comment didnt really help either:
Dangerfield told the Press Journal of Vero Beach that he wanted to publicize the danger snakes pose to other pets, people, and native wildlife when they get loose.
How many times have you heard about an escaped snake eating a dog... ever?
Now hots on the other hand can be dangerous, but the majority of escaped hots dont cause issues. But that once or twice that they do, gets all sorts of media coverage.
Funny how you never hear on the news about how captive snakes cause a lot less deaths then dogs...
