The Vita Spray stuff you can buy to spray on you pythons, does it work. At the local pet store they have this stuff called Vita spray on the owner said that you are supposed to spay it on your snake and it will make them shine, almost glow. Is this true the bottle was like 15 dollars?

    Description
Vita-Spray vitamin enriched mist was formulated and tested by veterinarians and herpetologists and found to be an excellent product for the prevention of drying skin, giving the reptile a longer and healthier life.
Vita-Spray vitamin enriched mist is a vitamin spray to be used on your reptiles. It offers vitamin D3 and other vitamins that are helpful to the reptile's health and well-being.

If Vita-Spray vitamin enriched mist is used daily, it will create an environment similar to the one your reptile had in the wild. For a healthier reptile, use Vita-Spray daily.

Is that it there? I dunno....says it's "tested by veterinarians and herpetologists", but with good husbandry skills, it's not really needed is it? Do you really need your snakey shiny and glowing like some greased body builder? lol I myself wouldn't buy it. Especially for 15 dollars.

    pet store trouble

If you are talking about a BP it's kind of a waste of money. I admire your motivation to be a good keeper though. BP's truly recieve all of the nutrients they need from their prey (as long as those prey have developed bones for calcium). I too wondered whether or not to use vitamins but it's really not worth the money time or effort if your snake is eating well and the risk of over vitaminizing (invented a new word) far outweighs any possible benifit IMO.
