What should I get at the expo?

A week today is the expo here and I was wondering what you peeps would get? I'm thinking of getting a male Calider but was just wondering what would you get if you had $1200 CDN to spend? So far my collection is a male/female pieds, female Pewter, male Spider and a female het OG.
    Thanks ahead for the input

Get what you like and want. It's your money, why would you want some one else telling you what to buy.

my opinion is I'd never waste $1200 on a snake or a dog or a cat, lol, but if your breeding and it's a business that's cool,if not,to me that's a waste of money IMO atleast.

most I'd probably spend on a snake would be $500.00 max and that's iffy, prob more like $250-$300. Money isn't the issue either.

I would buy what tickles your fancy. As far as money goes, I see no problem spending whatever you want on anything. If it is worth it to you, it doesn't matter what others think.

I've spent quite a bit on my last two females and my next two are around that same 800-1k mark. If you're going to only spend 500 max, you're either waiting a LONG time for prices to come down that far for the newer/neater morphs, or you're only playing in the shallow end of the pool with basic morphs.

I say get what you want and what works towards your breeding goals. Us saying our opinion is what is going to help our own collections, not yours. It's like saying your going to a restaurant and asking us what we would want so you can decide what you should get. If a male caliber is what your collection needs, go get him. Just post pictures.

I'd say get a male that is visual ghost plus something else. A het ghost doesn't do anything for you on her own. A Calider is pretty, but I don't see a point in having two males with spider in them.

A super pastel female would set you up for easy bumblebees. Or a visual OG anything could make use of your het OG girl.

Also, any pewter combos you like you could add the other pieces to breed to your pewter.

1200 CND is close to 1200 USD. thats some serious money.

not just a super pastel female the budget is to good for something as basic as that.

banana/coral glow will soon be within reach. i dont know up to date prices for it, but possibly also GHI. Both are really awesome morphs and are coming down in price really quickly.

or, since you have male and female pied, you could get another female pied. maybe a female pied with some extra gene, or a female 100% het pied with more than one extra genes.

and if you want more of the classic codominant/dominant base morphs that have come down in price, think about a very nice triple gene combo or a super form + extra gene. stuff like ivory, sterling, super fire, BEL, all well within budget.

for 1200 you can get one BP that is really fancy, either with lots of genes or with one rather new and amazing gene, but you could also get 2 or 3 still very decent BPs.

How about idc about breeding and having triple gene het morph this and that,I could care less about that. I get what I like and enjoy having them as pets. The only reason. I don't find it impressive that you spend that type of cash on snakes, unless like I said its a business and your making money, other words, still a waste of money to me.

    This still isn't about you.

You've got some good suggestions here, to make a plan of purchase for the expo.
