A little off topic sickness advice needed
Alright so my bronchitis turned into pneumonia about a month ago. I've been attempting to recover but I've kept getting secondary infections with my weak immune system and they are making it difficult to recover when I get something new every week. I am on wits end it is the most frustrating thing I've ever dealt with. Anyone with firsthand experience or advice? Ive been in for a check up and apparently my pneumonia has cleared but I guess at this point it's just my body being weak and never getting a chance to recover? Thanks guys.

Have you tried a Vitamin C supplement? My personal favorite is called Emergen-C, it's a powder you mix into a liter of water and sip at through the day. It has 1000mg of vitamin C and the flavors are really good, and it does wonders for recovering from illnesses. I'm prone to bronchitis, and when I feel it coming on I grab some from the store and it helps me get through my days without falling susceptible to other viruses on top of the bronchitis.
Hope this helps, and get well soon!

I have been taking one but maybe sipping on some could help, I'll try it out!

Yeah, having the bottle of water helps to keep the dosage up in your system throughout the day, rather than one powerful dose in the morning. Try it! =] Just remember to shake it up once in a while, the powder will settle a bit.

Stay warm, drink a ton of water to help flush stuff out, and the emergen-c advice is great.
I say stay warm because it's the bodies way of helping fight infection. Pretty much the same way snakes beat infections. Yoga is also great, some exercises do a lymph drainage to help clear your system.

Lots of nice fresh fruits and veggies too. They'll help give your body a nice dose of nutrients (especially less common vitamins like selenium and copper etc.) to help rebuild and repair. If you have a juicer available one of my favorites is 2 green apples, a pear, one bunch of kale, some spinach or cabbage, 4 carrots, and two limes (or lemon). Or just throw some fruits and veg in the blender. Basically anything to make it easier to consume large quantities of produce. I hope you recover quickly!

I got pneumonia about a year ago. Let me tell you, it knocked me down hard. It took about 3 months for me to fully recover. It just takes time and rest.
