Decisions: Single or Doube Gene? (0.1)

    So here's my current conundrum.

I'm looking at two prospective female hatchlings. One is a Pinstripe I found for 200, the other a Bumblebee for 275.

The Pin I've seen in person-- she's at the nearby PetSmart, and aside from some stuck shed, she's a beautiful little girl, although her markings are fairly average for a pin, well priced, and according to the Herp Specialist, their best eater at 2 fuzzies per meal since she came in.

The Bee I found on Craigslist, and the seller hasn't given me a clear photo of her since we've been in correspondence. She's 80g, and looks to have some really cool patterning on her head, but the pics are pretty fuzzy so I'm hesitant at best. He has offered to drop the price to 250; sounds like he's having trouble getting her out. His emails aren't terribly professional either, so if the pics didn't make me wary, that would.

So, a single-gene girl who has no history, but looks healthy and is priced fairly for market value, OR a double-gene whose history is sketchy at best and is priced a bit below what I've seen for good-quality bees?

I'm also considering a few other hatchlings whose history is much more solid, since both sellers I'm considering are on here/personal friends of mine. So it really isn't a rush decision. I'm just musing over possibilities.)

For reference, I want to work with making Pewter combos, and Axanthics as a recessive project farther down the line (at this rate quite a bit farther, so much so that it's not a priority right now unless I get crazy-lucky with an Axanthic deal.)

**Note-- I do want to build from the bottom with this project, but a Pewter male is in the works for once I get a female closer to breeding size. The Pin could produce Pewter Pins if I'm lucky, which I LOVE, but the Bee girl might be a good start if I got a Cinny male instead and literally started from the bottom.
