    Good deal on a lesser?

So I'm about to pick up a female fire (1170 grams) this weekend, and have a chance to add a female lesser (600 grams) for an extra $150. I don't really have time to load pics today, but she's a typical lesser, decent looking, about what you'd expect to see of the morph.

Now, lessers don't do a whole lot for me personally but.... is $150 a steal for a female lesser of that size? The guy is just wanting to unload all his snakes so he's letting them go cheap since I'm gonna buy his fire girl. I'm halfway considering going ahead and taking her and stashing her until I decide what to do with her.

If she is really a female, that is a really good deal. Even hatchling lessers go for more than $150

Yeah that's what I was thinking too. He has a pair of them so at that size it should be pretty easy to tell by their body type whether they are the same sex or not.

But this is just gonna feed the addiction if I jump into a lesser project to go with my fire/pastel project lol.

I agree even if you have no plans for her you could resell and recoup some of the money your spending on the fire.

Well there's that option, and you can probably see from what I have in my sig that a lesser would set me up for queen bees in a couple of years.....

stack up the genes, improve your collection from season to season by combining what you have to get what you want.

and lesser is a good gene that every collection should have. and for a female of that size, the price is really good.

There's no way I'd say no if I had the money at the time. Get that girl!

I wouldn't pass up this killer deal.. Just make sure you check the health and the sex, not trying to bash the breeder but remember if a deal is to good to be true, a lot of the time it is...

Not necessarily: I have a couple females who have a leaner body type much like a male (not underfed) and a couple of my males are super thick and look much like a female. I'd pop/probe this snake just to be sure.

But $150 is a steal for a lesser girl of that size so I'd for sure pick her up if you like her.
