This weekend I am building an enclosure for Jojo. He is getting bigger by the week now and his 90QT Sterilite is getting a bit cramped. I am building it out of 1/2" Aspen board. Its already cut to size at 2'X4' sheets so I am just going to make it 4'x2'x12"(WxLxH).

I am also thinking about putting a removable shelf inside the enclosure figuring that it will give him even more floor space and so i can get him out if he is under it.

I plan on using Water based paint to paint the entire thing black so its nice and dark inside.

My big delima is how to heat such an enclosure? Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Damien

You can put either one inside the cage and create a false floor above it of plastic pegboard or an acrylic sheet or something smiliar to prevent the snake from coming into direct contact with it.

Or route out the bottom underside and install heat cable like Animal plastics does w/ there cages. Works great
