Nice BP morphs!
I'm in the market for a baby ball python!
I'm leaning towards axanthic VPI from BHB, Any other good morphs in that price rage I should check out?

Look around and see what you like.

Be sure to quarantine if you order from BHB. My little lemonblast came with mites.

It sounds like this would be the OP's first snake (or at least first BP)
But either way, I think better advice would be:
"Be sure to quarantine (full stop)"

Yeah, I couldn't tell if they meant first snake or first BP; still, though, mites would need to be treated.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You might not like the same morphs I do. I would go to the BHB site (or any other BP sellers page) and write down the names of all the morphs in your price range. Then I would take that list to google images and youtube. Look at the morphs in all different lighting and see what stands out to you.
BTW, While I have never ordered from BHB they didn't get to be one of the biggest reptile breeders in the world by selling sick snakes. Some times mistakes may happen but keep in mind they do 10s of thousands of sales a year. Do you see 10s of thousands of complaints?

I have bought two snakes from BHB and both were perfect, the only problem was Brian's Cinny line is rather "nippy and mean" at feeding time, other than that my cinny was in perfect health and has never missed a meal. Infant her "meanness" has made her a better feeder IMO
But I do second this, look around a lot, don't just jump on a animal. And if you can go to show look around and make a offer, most breeders will work with you on a price and usually come down a few percent. I do agree Axanthic is a lovely morph! Just do a little searching around before you buy.

Anything you like that is within your price range.
we know you are looking at an axanthic..... nothing more.
no doubt this thread will die without much resistance, or it will go offtopic. There are between 100 and 200 identified genes breeders work with, and between 2000 and 3000 known combinations of these. I like jigsaws. what now? others like bees. Do you know what you like? That might help a lot.
@OP tell us what you like, specifically. what colors? you have white, yellow, light brown, grey, dark brown, and black to choose from, and also lavender hues, reddish hues. what pattern? classic, busy, striped, banded, reduced?

That's funny. I've gotten 2 balls from Brian at BHB, My cinny male from him is the most shy "always balled up" wuss around haha. Although the female bumblebee I got from him is satan's daughter! <3

I heard a rumor he was battling mites, but I don't really pay much attention to rumors but now that it's confirmed that sucks.
Let me know how your fight with those mites are going because I may have a suggestion if it's not going good.
