What size tubs for a Children's python?

What size sterelite tubs would you use for the different life phases of a Children's python? When I look online, all I see are aquarium recommendations or one person suggested a 41q, which seems ridiculous given their size.

With small snakes I like to go as big as I can. I would put an adult in something like a 3x2x2.

I kept and bred Childreni and Spotted for years. A large cage is wasted on them. They are secretive and inactive. I used 24 inch Neodesha slant fronts with them so the Sterilite equivalent would be a 28 or 32 quart. Make sure they have 2 hides, too. They use them extensively

I haven't kept childrens pythons before but I kept an adult spotted python for a while and he did fine in a rubbermaid 28 quart tub. A Sterilite 32 Qt should be fine.

A 28qt is plenty big enough for adults, babies I keep in a reptile basics 68 bin pencil box hatchling rack and they can stay in that for quite a long time before needing to be moved up to a shoe box/14qt/V18 rack. As long as the cages are escape proof, you can move them up early before they really need the larger space, leave them hides to use as they want, but I have never had an issue with one going off of feed or being bothered by being moved into a larger than needed cage.

The center cardboard tube out of a roll of toilet paper or paper towels make good disposable hides for them to use even as adults.
