Need some advice guys! I've had my barely 1 year old ball python for around 4 to 5 weeks now, his previous owner said he was a drop feeder and he fed him on chicks -.- and they never got him to strike! In my best attempts he struck two weeks in a row to small wiener rats defrosted in hot water, warmed up with chick yolk/brain on it which i was told to do by a reptile shop to make the rat smell of chick... Brilliant... But he needs to go onto large wiener rats, but now he won't entertain the small wiener rat no matter what I do to it ... And he's looking too skinny for my liking... Any help?
