My bp, Rufus, ate her first rat today! Earlier this week, Saturday night, I feed her her first prekilled meal. It was two mice. When my girlfriend brought them home I knew they where a little small. I stunned the mice first and held them with a tong. She took both of them. No problem! So today after having her out she looked a little small to have just eaten. So after getting critisim from some people on this site decided to fed her a rat. They said that I should be feeding her rats by her size, just over two feet, so went to petco and got the smallest rat which was just about the same size around as Rufus. Stunned the rat and fed the rat to her. It took the snake to realize it was to eat then got her. After that the rat started to come through and bit Rufus, I put an end to that before anything happened. Them she took a little while to find the head and took it down. I won't mess with her for a day or two. Just thought that I would share this with you.
