Size restrictions here are 8', and I could honestly care less, but if it would ever need to go to a vet... I'd be a bad owner if I bought an animal that couldn't be seen by a vet. Plus, if I got one, and I'd have to get a baby and tell my mom it's a Ball Python LOL

LOL.. That would be priceless... But yes, even when laws do suck to abide by, we must either follow them or move, the same goes with the Lacey Act...l myself wish I could own a Caiman, but here in IL we can't. In the end we must be responsible owners, wether we focus on conversation through education or we just pass on the love of reptiles to our friends.. Just remember! Enjoy every minute of the HOBBY.

wow.. Sadly though when we lived with my mother my 1000 gram male tagged me and she freaked out... The most hilarious one was when my 6 foot burm tagged me and coiled. My mother freaked out screaming and yelling like our house was on fire..
