I have an albino corn snake and a normal corn snake. They were in a moldy atmosphere and I took them into my care. I've noticed that both of them have been getting an orange/red tint to their bellies. It's from the tail to the neck. The scales themselves are beautiful -- shiny and look like they are in good shape. Is this normal? I haven't been able to find much literature on the topic.
I also have a kingsnake from the same environment and it is also developing the same coloring. Is this normal?
It's not a pre-shed thing. Definitely not a thermal burn as they do not have heating appliances.
