    Awesome Dumeril's Update

Hey, everyone! When I first got my Dumeril's (September 7th, 2013), she was in a horrible shed, really wheezy when she breathed, and had really saggy jowls. All of this led me to believe she had an RI. So I've been stressing! She had gotten everything off except for some old scales covering her nostrils. I had troubles finding a bowl the appropriate size for her, but a few days ago I found one that was perfect size for her, so I filled it with water and put it in her enclosure. Checked on her today; her nose pieces are gone! No jowls, at all! No wheezing at all! Really happy and relieved! She's perfect. Plus... Just to make this even greater, her colors are way brighter, and prettier I am just ecstatic today... I also handled my male BCI without being bitten! Thought about buying a lottery ticket when that happened!! Overall; awesome day... Couldn't have been ANY better (unless my knees would magically heal up!) Thanks for reading. Just wanted to let everyone know how the babies are doing!
As for the snakes that were not mentioned...
My female BCI is doing good! I'm still just shocked by how beautiful she is (Pastel Salmon. Nothing too fancy but she's perfect, imo)
And my Corn Snake is doing good as well! I thought I found a mite on her today... It was just dirt from her plant *thank goodness * she's in the same room as my BCI's and my Ball Python, so I would have been irate if I found mites on her!!

Well I'm glad everything worked out for you.

With everything setup correctly most issues will right themselves.

Thanks, Neal. I thought it was an RI. That's why I was freaking out a little. Once I got her a bigger bowl, she improved!

For a bowl, try a cat litter box or a bus boy tub. Even a short and wide plastic tub will work well for a boa bowl.

    Yay for no RI.
