    Snake tattoos?

I'd love to see yours. I used to be a very anti tattoo person but after drawing my mom's lion for her my mind finally started changing. Currently I have a horse one planned on my right lower back that has more meaning to it than just horses. I'm trying to figure out how to make a snake going up my side to look good. Like what shape it should be positioned in to flow with my body. It's not coming to me. I'm VERY tattoo picky so it'll be pretty detailed and in color. Unfortunately my ultimate BP love is axanthic fireflies, but white fades so fast from tattoos so I may have to pick a different morph. My main concern is figuring out what shape to have the snake in to flow right. I was thinking of having it go from my hip to middle rib cage.

Anyways I'd love to see your guy's snake tattoos out of interest and for idea generating.

    Snake tattoos?

Look into Japanese styled snake tattoos. They're brilliantly colored, and Japanese style pieces (when done well) are very good with managing positive and negative space. Even if you don't care for the aesthetics, you can reference them for shape.

Do your research! And like snakes, go for quality over price, and find an artist who excels at the style you want.

PS- I'm sorry I don't have a snake tattoo pic for you. I have a serpent, but I hate it because I didn't follow the advice above. 😣

A snake tattoo is going to be one of my next ones. My ex wife has a life sized boa, along her ribs, stomach and left leg. But I couldn't post pics without her permission and we don't speak.. So that's not going to happen lol.

I just realized that I don't have any pictures since I've had it completed. I do need to get some touch ups, but here is mine.

I like the snake tattoo for sure. I seen a nice on somebody at the Reptile Expo, I don't remember what though. I was half paying attention and Luke pointed it out and it looked pretty sick.

    Re: Snake tattoos?

I have one! I only have a really crappy pic from when I first got it done. It's about 5 years old now, I tried to take an updated one, but I didn't realize how hard it is to take pictures of the back of your neck lol. Anyway, here it is, sorry for the low quality

    Re: Snake tattoos?

I just uploaded mine to tapatalk. Too lazy to photo bucket it on my phone :-p.

That's my tattoo fresh from the artist. Had it done while on my visit to Japan last summer.
