    Sad farewell to Jackson :(

Jackson had to be sold due to lack of space, and went to his new owner yesterday. I've picked up Xavier and Diablo for breeding interests and it just doesn't leave room for a normal male anymore. The good news is that I've been talking to the buyer for about 2 weeks and feel confident that she is going to be a caring owner and will love him as I did. She also said he will keep his name.

I understand that it's part of the business that I will have to let animals go occasionally (more often once I really start breeding next year), but I do love all of my snakes so it's always gonna be sad to see them go even when it's necessary.

I can totally relate! I sold my pet corn snake about a week ago. I wasn't using her for breeding, just for looking. She's with a little boy and his family who LOVES her to pieces! It really helps.

Earlier this year I traded a make spider I raised from 100-1,000 grams. I still miss him. Three days ago someone offered me 800$ for my 1,200 gram male Spider-Mojave, and I had to say no. I really wanted that money but that snake is gonna be a stud for me.

Sorry you had to let him go. He is a good looking guy!

But that's how you keep the love going. My daughter got our 11yr old BP when it was 9 from a friend. And I relunctantly inherited him from her. Now I'm hooked!

    Pass it along!
