I recently got my first BP and am still learning so much. My questions are : how do they get Mouth Rot? What are the signs? How do you treat it? Thanks
Normally too wet and too cold are the conditions that cause mouth rot but normally from a injury to the mouth. It's basically the wound getting infected with bacteria. They have different types of mouth rot too and it'll look like a darkening around the lips/gums. The best way to treat it is to seek a vet. I believe the last time somebody encountered it the oral antibiotics didn't help much so they switched to injections.
