Does Your Snake HATE The Spray Bottle?

I was just wondering if y'all's snakes hated the spray bottle as much as mine?

When it's time for a humidity adjustment, I try not to bust out the spray bottle. But when the humidity gets too low I just have to.

My Ball just recoils and pulls away. It is really sad, I feel like I am teasing and taunting him.
I know, to him that spray sound, sounds like another snake hissing, and he doesn't want to be vulnerable out in the open per se.

    Any other "spray" experiences?

Does Your Snake HATE The Spray Bottle?

oh yeah. quite a few of mine curl up into balls and try to hide from it, but out of all my snakes, my retic truly HATES the spray bottle. but instead of trying to get away from it, he'll actually lash out and strike at it. even if a few drops land on his tail he'll whip around faster than i've ever seen him move just ready to kill whatever the hell just sprayed him. it got to the point where i'll just take him out of his cage first, mist it down real good, and then put him back in. lol

Some of mine are the same so I usually take them out, mist, then put them back in or cover them with one of the little feeding towels I have and mist so the water doesn't directly spray them.

lol...so thoughtful...I just pull open the tubs and spray away...and they all hate it. It's a small price to pay for being pampered 24/7...

Mine hates it! If she's out and about, I'll take her out first and then spray. If she's in her hide, I'll spray away. She usually pokes her head out to see what I'm doing and if any drop of water gets near her hide, she almost violently pulls back inside, lol. Poor girl.

Mine also do not like it. They tend to recoil.
Now, I just spray the bedding up close so it doesn't hit the snakes...

Am I the only one who realises that snakes can't hear?
